The vote form in the design lab is the only place this site asks you for anything. Here is what it collects, where it goes, and how to have it removed.

What the vote form collects
Two things you type: your name and your email address. Two things you click: the design and the colorway you had selected when you pressed send.
Two hidden values travel with the vote so the site can tell a person from a bot. One is the moment the form loaded, checked against the moment you submitted. The other is a decoy field, hidden from view, which a real visitor leaves empty.
Where it goes
Votes are not stored on this website. There is no database and no file written. When you press send, the site hands the vote to FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), an outside form service, and FormSubmit emails it to Jett.
That email carries your name, your email address, the design title and its slug, the colorway, the time you submitted, and the page you submitted from. Your email address is also set as the reply address, so a reply from Jett reaches you.
Your IP address is not part of that email. The site keeps it in memory only, to count how many votes have come from one connection in the last ten minutes, and drops it once that window passes.
What it is used for
Jett reads the votes to decide which designs to make. If a design you voted for moves toward production, H.E.R.O. may email you about it, and may email you about future hat drops. The vote form says the same thing above the send button.
Your name and email are not sold, rented, or traded.
What this site does not do
No analytics, no advertising pixels, no tracking cookies. No visitor tracking code of any kind is loaded on any page. There is no account to create and no cart, because nothing on this site is being offered for sale today.
Removing your details
You can ask for your name, email, and vote to be deleted at any time.
The address to send that request to is not published yet. H.E.R.O. has no confirmed public email address or social channel, which the contact page also states. The moment one is live it will be listed there and repeated here.
Changes
If the form starts collecting something new, this page changes with it. The date at the top is when it was last edited.
